Hierarchical TS‐1 Through Ammonium Fluoride Etching

The impact of the NH4F etching on textural and catalytic properties TS-1 was investigated. Two with different crystal sizes, i. e. 200 100 nm; were achieved, as inferred from nitrogen physisorption isotherms at 77 K, mercury porosimetry, powder X-ray diffraction patterns transmission electron microscopy. generation larger mesopores within parent samples observed together a reduction coherent size (CCS) upon etching. secondary porosity further did not result in an alteration Si/Ti ratio, allowing to compare outcomes function properties. It found that methyl-phenyl sulfide (MPS) conversion kinetics importantly depend catalysts. initial velocity increase linearly CCS until reaching plateau, indicating diffusion limitation occur up approximately nm. Likewise, mono- di-oxidation product selectivity governed by issues.
